"Matsuyama Castle" is The castle of a samurai built in the Middle Ages.The valuable place where a lot of historic buildings exist. It is appointed to a Japanese national treasure.

Matsuyama-jo Castle is in Matsuyama City, Ehime, Japan.

Started construction of a castle in 1603, but the castle tower is destroyed by fire by a thunderbolt in 1784. The current castle tower rebuilds it in 1854.

The Japanese army is managed from 1886 through 1945. The garrison town of the 22nd Matsuyama  infantry regiment was installed in a castle.

Matsuyama City owns it and becomes the popular tourist attraction now.
